Woman dies in Rajouri landslide | KNO

Rajouri, June 14 (KNO): A middle-aged woman died after she came under a landslide in a village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district Sunday evening. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the incident took place in Manyallan Doongi village of police post Chatyari Chingus of Rajouri district. They said that identified as Farzandh Bi wife of Bashir Ahmed was working in fields when a portion of land from uphill fell on her. “She got buried under the debris and died on the spot,” they said. Her body was later retrieved from the debris by locals and police. “Police took the body of deceased for medico-legal formalities—(KNO)
